  • 1.  NMRT President's Program: Crowd Sourcing Questions

    Posted May 04, 2026 11:14 AM

    Hello All!

The NMRT President's program (https://cdmcd.co/pMwmGQ) this year will be a panel-based discussion regarding promotion/ career advancement, managing staff, strategic career decisions, etc. If you have any questions related to this topic, we'd love to hear from you! The panel consists of public and academic librarians with varying levels of experience and job duties. We have a mostly Q&A based format, and hope to have some questions prepared beforehand from membership! So, if you have interest in this topic, please reach out witha  question and perhaps we'll answer yours during the program!

Please use this form to submit questions.

    Thank You,

    Morgan Brickey-Jones

Bumping this for more visability- if you have questions about how to promote within your organization, how to leverage experience into promotion (without necessarily needing to manage folks) or about moving into different types of libraries to advance your career this is the panel for you! Please use the link in the post to submit any questions you have!
