    Hello ACRL colleagues,

We'd like to share that we've recently published two new episodes of our podcast, Library Table Talk.

    Episode 2: Failure to instruct

In which we talk with Ben Chiewphasa and Lisa Janicke Hinchliffe about when things go wrong in the classroom, and when we feel like failures as instructors -- and, how to recover, learn from these experiences, and grow as teachers.

    Episode 3: All onboard

In which we talk with Jennifer Elder about all things onboarding. Are you looking for your first library job and curious what onboarding looks like? Are you a new manager who has never onboarded someone before? Do you have a new colleague and want ideas for how to support them? We discuss tips and advice for all aboard.

    More about Library Table Talk:

We're two early-to-mid-career librarians exploring what academic librarianship looks like in the day-to-day, across different types of institutions and roles. We invite other librarians for friendly and informal conversations about the practicalities, responsibilities, challenges, joys, and realities of academic librarianship as a job and as a career.

Our target audience is primarily early-to-mid-career academic librarians, including current grad students interested in academic librarianship.

If you have questions, suggestions, or want to subscribe, please visit our website's contact page and/or reach out to us directly.
