Whether you are early-career, looking for a job, interested in library work at different institution types, or simply curious, we have a new episode of Library Table Talk out now on solo librarians! While library people already tend to wear many hats, our November episode is about the many different hats a solo librarian, or librarian at a very small college library, wears. Hannah and I recruited two librarians (from the ACRL Community Librarians from Very Small Institutions) from different small institutions to share their experiences– and interestingly enough they both work at small colleges with unique disciplinary focuses!

You can listen to Episode 9 here!

I’ll also note that in spring 2026, Library Table Talk will premier episodes created by guest hosts! This is one step towards our goal of bringing in more folks to create, share, participate, and lead the podcast!
