    Dear NMRT Members,

    I hope your December is going well!  The most recent IFC meeting took place this Monday, December 11.  Here are a couple of updates:

    1. Data Privacy Week is taking place from January 21-27.  Here is a website with further information.
    2. The Freedom to Read Task Force has been working on revising their statement, and they hope to have a draft by December 30.  They are considering whether it is necessary to have a separate Youth Freedom to Read Statement considering current events.
    3. The Office of Intellectual Freedom is already working on Banned Books Week 2024.  They hope to have ideas for review by LibLearnX.
