Career services in LIS programs - survey

  • 1.  Career services in LIS programs - survey

    Posted Mar 19, 2024 11:22 AM

    Hi, everyone:

I am conducting a study examining how graduate LIS programs support the career exploration and preparation of MLIS/MLS/MILS students. This project (funded by the ALISE Research Grant Competition) aims to: 1) to investigate current efforts to support graduate LIS students' career exploration and preparation; 2) to identify the services, resources, and programs desired by students; and 3) to identify programs that may serve as exemplars. This project will provide insight into whether and how LIS programs are preparing students to engage in job search and career transition processes and to meet the challenges of today's employment landscape.

If you are currently enrolled in a graduate LIS program (i.e., MLIS/MLS/MILS), I invite you to participate by completing this anonymous online survey.

At the end of the survey, participants will have an opportunity to provide their email address to be entered into a drawing for 1 of 25 $25 gift cards.
