    The Core Diversity and Inclusion Committee is seeking proposals for lightning talks at the 2023 Core Forum in New Orleans, LA on Saturday Oct 20, 2023 at 3:45--4:45PM CT. This session will be live and in-person only. There is no virtual option. 

     

    This presentation showcase will highlight some of the ongoing or completed projects by librarians at public, academic, and special libraries. Presenters will be selected to ensure that this showcase is of value to librarians and administrators in a wide variety of roles and from many types of libraries. This presentation's aim is to highlight ongoing initiatives or projects that are DEIA focused or have been created with a DEIA lens as well as those who have staff development activities and can share how they are working to actively engage staff with DEI in their workplace and duties. We invite submissions from any area of the library or cross departmental projects. 

     

    We are seeking lightning talks (~10-20 minutes).
