Sorry for Cross-Posting
Dear Library Colleagues,
Are you doing any interesting research in reference? Tell us about it.
The Research and Statistics Committee invites you to present your research to an engaged audience of library professionals at the 32nd Annual Reference Research Forum at the 2026 ALA Annual Conference to be held June 25-29, 2026, in Chicago. This session is an historically well-attended event and a great opportunity to extend the impact of your research. Submissions are blind refereed.
Past topics for the Reference Research Forum include, but are not limited to, chat reference, virtual reference services, bilingual reference, library access, assessment of reference services, and impact of reference services on library staff.
We welcome submissions from any library workers engaged in reference services in any type of library. LIS students and LIS faculty are also encouraged to submit proposals. Membership in RUSA, ALA, or any other professional organization is not required.
For more information and to submit your proposals, please visit this link.
Proposals are due by January 30, 2026. If you have questions, please contact committee co-chairs Greg Dachille (gwdachil@gmail.com) or Tisha Zelner (tisha.zelner@usm.edu).
Respectfully Yours,
The Research and Statistics Committee
