    Hi, all,

I'm happy to announce that the ACRL Instruction Section's Research and Scholarship Committee has completed our annual "5 Things: Learning About" publication, focusing this year on emotion, intuition, and affect in knowledge-building.

The "Five Things" publication serves to instruct and educate readers about topics relevant to library instruction that are either timely or under-discussed. The publication's emphasis is on current, targeted information and is intended to be a user-friendly entry into keeping up with important trends in library instruction research and practice.

On behalf of the sub-committee (Kimberly Franklin, Megan Hodge, Samantha Kannegiser, Martin Nord, Tammi Owens, and Mary Rickelman) and committee chair Jessica Szempruch, we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about this topic. If this has inspired you to get involved in future ACRL-IS Research and Scholarship work, please reach out to learn more!

    All the best,

    Megan Hodge
Vice-chair/chair-elect of the ACRL-IS Research and Scholarship Committee
