ALA Annual 2012: ACRL New Members Discussion Group Panel Discussion

"'Other Duties As Assigned': What a job description staple really means"
What exactly is the purpose of a job description? How does it relate to your day-to-day work as an academic librarian?  Join the ACRL New Members Discussion Group (NMDG) for our up-coming ALA Annual panel discussion where we will discuss how job descriptions and job duties are evolving for academic librarians. Our panelists will discuss how to leverage your skills to be hired for positions and how you can impact your duties if you’re already working as an academic librarian.

The panel takes place on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 10:30am-12:00pm at the Disneyland Hotel Room: Monorail B & C.

If you have any burning questions that you want to make sure that we cover please feel free to contact co-leaders Lindsay Sarin (lcsarin@gmail.com) or Elizabeth Psyck (elizabeth.psyck@gmail.com) and let us know!
