    Plan now for National Library Workers Day (NLWD) -Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Recognize the people who make library service possible every day. National Library Workers Day (#NLWD22) is a day for library users, administrators, staff, supporters, and friends' groups to recognize the valuable contributions of those who work in libraries. Individuals, libraries, and organizations are encouraged to submit names of Stars to honor great workers, teams, or departments. You may submit as many names as you like. There is no limit. Celebrate the day in fun, creative ways. If you need some ideas, see our list. Consider giving cool gifts to your staff to let them know they are appreciated. Share your celebration ideas by sending photos, news items, etc., to libraryworklife@ala.org.
