The LIRT Organization and Planning Committee seeks nominations for three offices:
- Vice-President/President-Elect
- Vice-Treasurer/Treasurer-Elect
- Secretary
Candidates must be current members of LIRT and have served for at least one year on a LIRT committee. Officers must be able to attend all ALA Midwinter and Annual Conferences for the duration of their commitments. The terms of these offices are:
- Vice-President/President-Elect (three year commitment) - serves on the Executive Board as Vice-President/President-Elect, President, and Past President. Serves the third year as Chair of the Organization and Planning Committee.
- Vice-Treasurer/Treasurer-Elect (three year commitment) - serves a two-year term as part of the Executive Board as Vice-Treasurer/Treasurer-Elect and Treasurer. Serves a third year as a member of the Organization and Planning Committee.
- Secretary (two year commitment) serves a one-year term on the Executive Board as Secretary, and servers as LIRT Archivist in the second year.
