Second Call for Participation: Learning Round Table Training Showcase LIVE at ALA Annual, Sunday, June 29, 2025 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Exhibit Hall A
We want YOU to participate in the Learning Round Table Training Showcase! We've got a few additional spots available for our Live Training Showcase at ALA Annual in Philadelphia.
If you provide professional development or staff training, this drop-in poster-session-meets-think-tank program is for you! Library professionals will showcase best practices and new ideas in continuing education.
This is an opportunity to promote your training talents, share your knowledge with attendees, and network with other learning professionals. Participants should be prepared to share a training topic or learning tip with attendees.
Each presenter will be provided with a dedicated table to share their training tip and expertise. The Training Showcase is 90 minutes long.
Presenters are encouraged to bring their own materials such as:
-
Handouts and takeaway resources
-
Interactive demonstrations
-
Physical tools and training aids
-
Conversation starters
-
Business cards and service information
Note: No display easels or standard presentation equipment will be provided.
Your table is your canvas! This format allows you to engage directly with attendees through conversation and demonstration rather than formal presentations. Share a practical training tip that showcases your expertise while having the opportunity to network and promote your expertise.
Location and Time: Pennsylvania Convention Center, Exhibit Hall A, Sunday, June 29, 2025 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Light refreshments will be provided.
