    Will you be at the 2026 ALA Conference in Chicago? Are you interested in sharing your knowledge and being part of a panel presentation? 

    The Learning Round Table Conference Committee is looking for panelist/presenters who would be interested in being part of the following presentation: 

    The Invisible Labor of Library Work: Data, Metrics, and Storytelling for Advocacy

    Library staff perform extensive "invisible" work-emotional support, crisis intervention, and everyday tech help-that often goes unmeasured. This session shows libraries, support agencies, and consultants how to identify and document this labor and turn it into compelling advocacy stories.

    • Spotting invisible staff tasks

    • Measuring and recording this work
