Learning Round Table Call for Committee Volunteers

  • 1.  Learning Round Table Call for Committee Volunteers

    Posted Jul 20, 2016 12:11 PM
There are still opportunities to volunteer for a LearnRT committee in 2016-2017. We have extended the deadline to volunteer. If you are interested, please fill out this signup form by July 27 (ALA site login required).

There are limited openings in the committees listed below. Our greatest need is a chair for the Supervisor Success Symposium committee, which will continue the work done in partnership with WebJunction this past Spring.

    • Conference Programs

    • Emerging Leaders

    • Newsletter

    • Nominations

    • Pat Carterette Professional Development Grant

    • Supervisor Success Symposium (chair needed)

More information about LearnRT committees can be found hereThis is an excellent opportunity to meet new people, get involved with LearnRT, and develop leadership skills. No prior experience is necessary.

Committee appointments last for one year, beginning at July 1 and ending June 30. Most LearnRT committee work is done virtually, but please note that for the conference program committee, attendance at the 2017 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago is strongly preferred.

Note that you must be a dues paying member of LearnRT to serve on a committee. New members are always welcome, and LearnRT dues are only $20/year (in addition to ALA membership dues).  For more information on becoming a member of LearnRT, visit our “Get Involved” page

Please email me directly if you have any questions about LearnRT committees.
