The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hello all,
    As part of ALA Annual, GODORT is coordinating a tour of the Municipal Reference Collection at the Harold Washington Library Center. Our host and guide for the tour will be Jason Nosek, CPL's Depository Coordinator. 

    Space is limited so registration is required. You do not need to be a GODORT member to attend, so please forward to anyone who might be interested. GODORT / CPL Harold Washington Library Center Tour.

    I'll email registrants ahead of the tour to confirm participation. I look forward to seeing folks in Chicago.
