The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hello everyone,
    The single-blind, open-access journal Documents to the People wants your submissions! We're looking for articles on government information and activities, and current events at the local, state, national, and international or intergovernmental levels.
    Submit your work by August 15, 2025 for inclusion in the Fall 2025 issue! I know there is A LOT going on right now related to government information. 
    We are also seeking student paper submissions for our Winter 2025 issue. The deadline to nominate papers is September 1, 2025. 

    To submit nominations, please email the editor with a subject indicating its for Student Paper Nominations. For each paper, we will need the student's name, email address (school and personal, if possible), if they are graduating, and the course, year, and professor for which the paper was completed.
    We are also gathering submissions for all upcoming 2026 issues, so if you have a paper or idea for a submission that won't be ready by these deadlines, please feel free to contact us.
