The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hello all,

    The Federal Depository Library Conference is September 25 and 26. The Friday session, "Council is Listening," is about the community! Depository Library Council members would like to hear what is on your mind! You may submit your feedback ahead of the session through the conference portal or by completing this brief survey. Please share any questions, comments, or suggestions on depository topics such as preservation, National Collection Service Areas, Artificial Intelligence, depository tools (for instance, CGP, Discover.gov, eXchange, govinfo.gov), or anything about collections, services, or access! 

    Council fosters dialogue between the Government Publishing Office and the depository library community. Council serves in an advisory capacity to GPO on improving public access to our Government's information and on information policy issues affecting depository libraries and the FDLP. Your feedback can help guide Council's discussions and identify priorities/issues to be addressed that can lead to Council recommendations.
