The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Starting next Tuesday, GODORT will be holding our 2023 virtual midwinter meetings. You can find the link to register and view the schedule of meetings on our website here: https://godort.libguides.com/2023VirtualMidwinter. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are open to all members. Join for some or join for all -- hope to see you there!

    Because of these meetings, there will NOT be the usual steering meeting today @ 1 pm CT. The midwinter Steering meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday (Jan 17th) @ 1:30 pm CT. The general GODORT membership meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 20th @ 12:15 pm CT.
