  • 1.  Prepare for Philly 90's humidity and hot air at ALA Annual

I've been asked to send out a helpful reminder to those coming to Philadelphia for ALA Annual:

Just an FYI to GODORT members to pack for heat and humidity this conference weekend. While the area will be out of the 100 F weather almost all days apart from Friday will be in the 90's with humidity and Philly's normal bad air. Everyone should pack hats / water bottles / masks if needed.

PA is experiencing its typical hot and humid and hazy summer. So please be prepared. Stay hydrated! And wear comfortable walking shoes!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You should also plan for AWESOME food by doing some research, but you'll need to get reservations! Lots of great places to eat if you venture away from the conference center a bit.
