The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Dear DttP Contributors,

    Thank you for your past contributions to Documents to the People. Your articles, columns, book reviews, and organizational reports have strengthened the journal and served the government information community.

    We're reaching out because GODORT's leadership is making important decisions about DttP's future, and we want to hear from people who know the journal from the inside-our contributors.

    Why We're Asking You

    As someone who has published in DttP, you understand what makes the journal valuable. Before we decide on changes to DttP's format, focus, publishing model, or frequency, we want contributor feedback on:
    • What attracted you to publish in DttP
    • What content areas matter most
    • What would keep you submitting work in the future
    • What's worth preserving, no matter what else changes
    • Whether you'd be willing to volunteer (peer reviewer, editorial support, etc.)

    The Survey

    We've created a short survey specifically for past contributors. Your responses will directly inform recommendations to GODORT's leadership. The survey is anonymous, unless you include identifying information in your responses.
