The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    This is just a friendly reminder that next week, January 12-16, GODORT will be holding our Virtual Winter Committee Meetings! For more information, check out the schedule for meetings and link to register in our 2026 Winter LibGuide: https://godort.libguides.com/winter_meetings_2026

    Registering allows you to attend any of the GODORT meetings. . If you are interested in learning more about GODORT, you might want to attend the GODORT 101 session on Monday, January 12 (9:00 am PST / 10:00 am MST / 11:00 am CST / 12:00 pm EST) and the General Membership meeting directly after GODORT 101 on January 12 (10:00 am PST /  11:00 am MST / 12:00 pm CST / 1:00 pm EST).
