The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hi all. The GODORT International Documents Task Force will be meeting by Zoom on Thursday June 15th from 11:00 -12:00 pm CT.  The agenda can be found on the GODORT annual conference page.  The theme of the meeting is Digital Access to the League of Nations Archives and will feature a presentation by Mr. Colin Wells, Knowledge Management Officer United Nations Library & Archives, Geneva, and former Project Manager of LONTAD: the total Digital Access to the League of Nations Project,  where the entirety of League of Nations archives was digitized and made freely available (14.2 million pages of materials).
