Help Shape DttP's Future - Brief Survey

  • 1.  Help Shape DttP's Future - Brief Survey

    Posted 6 hours ago
    Hi everyone,
GODORT's Publications Committee is at a critical juncture with Documents to the People (DttP), and we need your input to chart the best path forward.
    Why This Matters
DttP has faced significant financial challenges, so to ensure the journal remains viable and continues to serve our community, we're evaluating DttP's purpose, format, and sustainability model. Your perspective is essential to these decisions.
    What We're Asking
We'd like you to spend 10-15 minutes completing this brief survey about:
    • How you currently use DttP
    • What content matters most to you
    • What changes you'd support to ensure DttP's long-term sustainability

How Your Input Will Be Used
    Your responses will directly inform:
    • Whether DttP should focus on scholarly research, GODORT communications, or both
    • What publication format and frequency would best serve our members
    • Recommendations to GODORT leadership about DttP's future direction
This isn't a survey about problems-it's about solutions and priorities. We're exploring multiple pathways to sustainability, and member feedback will determine which direction makes the most sense for our community.
SURVEY CLOSES: Monday, August 31, 2026
    Questions?
Contact Jennifer Castle at jennifer.castle@vanderbilt.edu if you have questions about the survey or DttP's situation.
We appreciate your time and your commitment to GODORT and the government information community.
