    Hello all,

ALA has requested liaisons from GODORT to a pair of committees that set the agenda for some of the important issues facing ALA today.

    Intellectual Freedom Committee(https://www.ala.org/aboutala/committees/ala/ala-if)

    Committee on Professional Ethics(https://www.ala.org/aboutala/committees/ala/ala-profethic)

Given the many issues facing libraries today, I think it's important for GODORT to be part of the discussion. If you are interested in serving in either of these roles, please contact me at baldred2@uic.edu by August 25th for full consideration.

    Cheers,

    Ben Aldred, GODORT Chair
