The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Happy New Year GODORT members and friends! May you fill 2025 with new adventures, accomplishments, and learnings. There's lots to look forward to in GODORT this year, and we're already off to the races. From January 13-17, we'll be kicking off our Virtual Midwinter Committee Meetings!     Registering allows you to attend any of the GODORT meetings. You do not need to be an ALA member to attend GODORT meetings. If you are interested in learning more about GODORT, you might want to attend the GODORT 101 session on Monday, January 13 (11:00 am PST / 12:00 pm MST / 1:00 pm CST / 2:00 pm EST) and the General Membership meeting on Thursday January 16 (1:00 pm PST /  2:00 pm MST / 3:00 pm CST / 4:00 pm EST).
