The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    GODORT will hold its committee and general membership meeting next week, June 13-17, 2022. As part of the week's meetings, GPO will share updates on Thursday, June 16 at 11 a.m. CST/12:00 EST.     The LibGuide includes information about our in person activities at ALA Annual in Washington D.C. 

    If you haven't done so already, RSVP to attend the Happy Hour Celebration of GODORT's 50th hosted by OECD, World Bank, and IMF. This event will be held on Saturday, June 25 at the OECD Library at 1776 I ("eye") Street, NW, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

This event will be held Sunday, June 26th, 6pm-8pm at The George Washington Masonic National Memorial (101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, Virginia 22301 -- Take the Yellow Line to the Alexandria Metro Station from there it is short walk to the venue)
