GODORT Task Force on Committee Structure: Volunteers Needed

  • 1.  GODORT Task Force on Committee Structure: Volunteers Needed

    Posted Sep 14, 2023 11:45 AM

    Hello GODORT members,
GODORT is seeking volunteers for a task force examining our current committee structure.
At present, GODORT has a total of 97 positions that need to be filled for a given year. While not all of our positions are open each year, it still means that nearly a quarter of the membership needs to be actively engaged in committee work at all times.
We are looking for volunteers to examine the current committee duties and roster sizes and propose revisions to the GODORT Policies and Procedures Manual to update the committee structure to a more sustainable level and to hopefully allow combined efforts.
If you are interested in being part of this effort, please reach out to Ben Aldred(baldred2@uic.edu), current chair of GODORT.
    Thanks,
    Ben
