GODORT Notable Documents now accepting nominations for 2024 and 2025!

  • 1.  GODORT Notable Documents now accepting nominations for 2024 and 2025!

    Posted yesterday

    Hello again, folks,

I hope you're well! As we're inching closer to the end of the year, please submit nominations for the ALA GODORT Notable Documents series.

Every year, the ALA Government Documents Round Table asks our community to nominate and highlight essential and notable documents published by international, federal, state, and local governments. Nominated documents are reviewed and judged by the Notable Documents panel, and the top-ranked documents are highlighted in Library Journal (example). It is an excellent way to show librarians outside of our field that government publications are engaging, exciting, and important!

We are currently accepting nominations for Notable Government Documents of 2024 and 2025. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.
The submission form is online here: https://www.ala.org/rt/godort/godortnotabledocumentnominationform

Please contact Jennifer Castle at jennifer.castle@vanderbilt.edu with any questions or concerns.
