The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Greetings,

    I am pleased to announce that GODORT Friday Chats will start up again this Friday, September 12 at 1pm ET/12pm CST, 11am MST, 10am PST. These informal chats will be held on the first Friday of every month at 1pm ET, unless otherwise specified. You do not need to be a member of GODORT to attend.

    September's topic is share your institution's upcoming event plans! Welcome Back Student Fairs, Constitution Day, National Voter Registration Day, Library Card Sign Up Month, Banned Books Week, FDLP Anniversaries, Election Day, International Games Month, etc. Enjoy discussion on what Gov Info related programming you have in the works for this Fall!
