    Hello everyone,

We're down to the last few open slots on our GODORT standing committees for 2023-2024 and I'd love to have you help us do some of our work in the year going forward.

Awards- Join GODORT in highlighting the great work of Government Information Librarians.

Conference- Help GODORT plan our on-site celebrations in San Diego in 2024.

Development- GODORT needs you to help us find new ways to support our organization.

Government Information for Children- Educate the next generation about the many functions of government.

Help! Webinar Series- Join our newest committee as incoming-chair and help educate new Government Information Librarians.

Membership- Help define what membership in GODORT can mean and how we can expand it in the days to come.

Nominating- Aid GODORT in putting forth names for our elected offices and for the Depository Library Council.

Program- Get involved with GODORT's conference submissions and juried programs.

Social Media and Outreach- Take GODORT to the social media sphere, keeping our active social media presence going.

All of our committees meet virtually and do not require travel to conferences. Committee work represents an excellent chance to get involved with GODORT and help define the future of the organization. They are places to share things you've learned, but also to learn from others who have years of experience.

Looking forward to working with all of you,

    Ben Aldred, Chair
