The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    GODORT ALA Annual Virtual Committee meetings June 9-13 – registration LibGuide is up at https://godort.libguides.com/2025godortannual . These meetings are open to all, just need to register for the Zoom link, which is at this page. Registering allows you to attend any of the GODORT virtual meetings. You do not need to be an ALA or GODORT member to attend GODORT meetings. If you are interested in learning more about GODORT, come check out our schedule!

    There is also a tab for the GODORT ALA Annual Conference In-Person Events in Philadelphia, PA on Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28 - https://godort.libguides.com/c.php?g=1463648&p=10887198

    Registration to the ALA  Conference is only required to attend the GODORT meetings held at the on-site conference.
