Hi all,
Many of you may already be aware of this issue, but I just discovered it via Kelly Wilson's (always appreciated) Government InformationWeekly Roundup.
The FCC Media Bureau is seeking comments on TV Ratings, with a specific focus on "concerns that controversial gender identity issues are being included or promoted in children's programs without providing any disclosure or transparency to parents" (p.2), with the first round of comments being due May 22. You can read more from John Hendel's Politco article.
If you (or an organization/group with which you are affiliated) wants to comment, you can do through the Proceeding Detail for Docket 19-41. If you wish to read submitted comments, you can do so through the Search Filings page.
Please note that to make a comment you do need to supply personal identifiable information. If you are in specific environments, like me as an academic librarian, that have certain limits on things you are legally allowed to do with politics, then know that you can always submit things as a private citizen, from your personal device.
I hope this post makes it easy for those interested to spread the word and/or comment as they feel comfortable.
