  • 1.  Discontinuation of Public Papers of the Presidents

    Posted Jan 24, 2023 12:02 PM

    Hi all,

I have received some individual messages from GODORT members asking if GODORT is planning to submit a comment on the recent decision to discontinue the Public Papers of the President (you can read more about the decision and the reasons behind the decision here: Discontinuation of Public Papers of the Presidents). You are, of course, welcome to submit a comment of your own through the process described in the linked document. If you would like a comment to be submitted on behalf of GODORT, please share your feedback with me (flynnk7@uw.edu) and I will compile and summarize the feedback I receive into a comment (with the approval of Steering) by the Jan 30 deadline.

    Best,
    Kian

I wanted to follow-up on my original message to note that I received feedback from only a few members and that some of the feedback was conflicting. Because of this, I have decided to not submit a comment on behalf of GODORT, but I encourage GODORT members to submit individual comments prior to today's deadline.

    Best,
    Kian
