The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hello GODORT Community,

    We're excited to announce that the nomination deadline for the Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award has been extended to Feb 28. This extension provides more time to recognize excellence in promoting and advocating for government information in libraries.

    If you know someone who has made significant contributions to government information, advocacy, and access, this is your chance to submit a nomination!

    About the Hoduski Founders Award:
    The Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated leadership and dedication to the field of government information. Contributions can be in service, advocacy, or development of tools to enhance access to government information.

    To nominate for the award, please fill out the Nomnation Form . You need the following information and material: 

    • Nominator's Information (Name*, Email*, Phone*, Institution)
    • Nominee's Information (Name*, Email*, Institution, Address*, City*, State*, Zipcode*)
    • Individuals Supporting Nomination (Individual One's name and email*, Individual Two's name and email*)
    • At least 2 letters of support and any supplemental material to support the nomination (file names should be AwardName_NomineeLastName_NominatorLastName)*
