The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Hello everyone,

    The single-blind, open-access journal Documents to the People wants your submissions for our 2026 issues! We're looking for articles on government information and activities, and current events at the local, state, national, and international or intergovernmental levels.
     
    Here are the deadlines for submissions for all 2026 issues:

    • Spring 2026: November 1, 2025
    • Summer 2026: February 1, 2026
    • Fall 2026: May 1, 2026
    • Winter 2026: September 1, 2026

    Please note that Fall 2026 will be our student issue. To submit nominations, please email the editor with a subject indicating its for Student Paper Nominations. For each paper, we will need the student's name, email address (school and personal, if possible), if they are graduating, and the course, year, and professor for which the paper was completed.
