The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    The 2026 GODORT Silent Auction is now open!

    Established in 1994, the W. David Rozkuszka Scholarship provides financial assistance to an individual who is currently working with government information in a library and is seeking to complete a master's degree in library science. The award is named after W. David Rozkuszka, a former Documents Librarian at Stanford University whose talent, work ethic and personality left an indelible mark on the profession. The scholarship award amount of $3,000 has assisted thirty students since 1995 with their professional education.
