The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    The Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) invites applications for the W. David Rozkuszka  Scholarship, established in 1995, by March 1, 2026.
    This scholarship's purpose is to provide financial assistance to an individual who is currently working with government documents in a library and is trying to complete a Masters degree in library science.
    Form of Award: $3,000 monetary prize. Award may be split among multiple winners at the discretion of the Awards & Conference Committee.
    Selection by: GODORT Awards & Conference Committee.
    Application: Application may be made using the online application in the ALA Scholarship Clearinghouse website (http://www.ala.org/educationcareers/scholarships ). The application should be accompanied by three letters of support and official academic transcripts.
    Deadline: The completed online application, personal statement, and three references must be received in the ALA Scholarship Clearinghouse by March 1st to be considered.
