    Dear Colleagues,

Are you interested in making a contribution to documents librarianship?  Do you have a publication idea but are not sure where it belongs?

Consider writing a GODORT Occasional Paper!

The GODORT Publications Committee created an Occasional Paper series in 2009.  The papers we have accepted are posted on the GODORT wiki, where they receive a good amount of exposure.  Please check out the papers we have accepted, and the guidelines for submitting, at wikis.ala.org/godort/index.php/GODORT_Occasional_Papers.

Please consider submitting a paper.  The guidelines are straightforward.  Materials considered for inclusion must pertain to some aspect of government information (e.g. local, state, federal, international).  The series was created to serve as a place for GODORT members to publish lengthy articles as well as other materials such as bibliographies, short articles, reports, preliminary research, etc...

I hope to see your submissions soon.  The deadline for submitting if you'd like your article to be posted before the ALA Midwinter Conference is December 15, 2013.
