We are planning on including a celebratory feature in the summer issue of DttP to help mark the 40th anniversary of ALA/GODORT, and we would like the help of the community. We plan to present "Forty things that Make GODORT GODORT" (well, that's the working title anyway). In other words, what are great accomplishments of the organization during its history, what has helped GODORT make its mark, and what has made it what it is today, and has been the past four decades. We are hoping for a mix in the list ranging from perhaps a particular stance on an issue that GODORT carried through to ALA Council and beyond to perhaps a mention of some infamous night-time meetings that have become legendary.

Please send your ideas to dttp.editor@gmail.com by March 16 so we can review your suggestions and choose the items to be included in the summer issue.

    Thank you in advance!
