    Apologies for cross-posting.

With immense sadness, I announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our very dear friend and colleague Kenya Flash.
I don't know of any formal arrangements with the family, but I'm sure they're forthcoming. However, some of us closest to her would like to hold an informal virtual memorial soon. I'll send out details when they're firmed.
I'm shocked and devastated. Please tell your friends you love them often.

I am at a complete loss for words.

Thank you, Jennifer, for helping to notify the GODORT community. Please share any information about a memorial for Kenya.

I am crushed by the news. So young and such a profound impact on librarianship, and with it, communities far beyond. I will miss her.
