The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    We are currently updating the GODORT Voter & Elections Toolkits LibGuide in preparation for the upcoming United States Elections this year.

    The toolkits have provided information regarding how to locate election resources and information for each state, including voter registration, state rules and regulations, and general resources on elections and voting. State rules/laws vary and require occasional updating before election day.

    If you are interested in editing one of the LibGuides, please email awilso26@umd.edu. Selections are on a first come first serve basis. Those interested should respond no later than Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 5PM EST.

    Editors are needed for the following states:
