  • 1.  Two letters from GODORT

    Posted Aug 13, 2018 05:17 PM
At the Annual Conference, Steering approved sending two letters on behalf of GODORT.

    • The first, to GPO, asks for public updates on the progress of correcting PURLs that are not functioning because of web security updates.
    • The second, to the Congressional Transparency Caucus, thanks them for leadership in working toward public access for CRS reports.
These letters have now been transmitted to the appropriate parties, and are shared here for your information.

Thanks for posting these letters Shari. Glad the GODORT is out front on these issues, especially public access to CRS reports for which librarians have been advocating for a loooong time!
