The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

      1. What to do with the results of our Survey of Interest in Webinars on Technical Services Processes of Federal and State Publications

EDI recommendations now in our revised PPM  - What to do with EDI recommendations to focus on ethics of cataloging, metadata description, and changing subject vocabularies – per our revised PPM - “GODORT groups should also seek to incorporate issues of community concern in their ongoing work. For example, in collaboration with affiliates, round tables, and other stakeholders, the GODORT Cataloging Committee can focus on the ethics of cataloging, metadata description, and changing subject vocabularies.”   Updates from OCLC on LC changes.
      4. Ideas on how to celebrate GODORT 50th at ALA 2022  - How can we collaborate with GODORT’s 50th anniversary at ALA Annual 2022 - Steering Committee is proposing June 26, 2021 at ALA Annual in DC as the GODORT 50th anniversary party - still looking at venues and deciding on costs
