The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    The GODORT 2019 Annual Conference schedule is now available on the GODORT website.  Highlights include:

    • Counting the Count, Trusting the Count:  Census 2020 – our program featuring a panel of experts on census data and the social context for the census,
    • Collectively Curating Government Information and Data:  The PEGI Project and the Collective Impact Model – our program about the PEGI project and how the Collective Impact model informs its work,
    • Committee and interest group meetings that address a wide range of government information-related topics,
    • GODORT 101 to welcome new and potential members, and
    • The GODORT Reception and Awards Ceremony, where we celebrate our 2019 awards winners.

    Hope to see many of you in Washington, DC next month!
