The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Are you an instruction fanatic? Then we have a webinar for you!!! Please make plans to attend the PPIRS Professional Development Committee webinar "Subject Specific Instruction for International Issues: Human Rights & Climate Change". Using 2 classes based on these topics as cases studies, presenters Chelsea Nesvig (Research and Instruction Librarian for Global and Policy Studies at the University of Washington at Bothell and Cascadia College) and Nadine Hoffman (Natural Resources, Energy & Environmental Law and History Librarian at the University of Calgary) will discuss the history of and how they became involved in these courses, how they engage students and faculty, share instructional techniques and identify a variety of Human Rights and Climate Change resources and searches that you can use in LibGuides, at the Reference Desk or in your own Information Literacy sessions.
