8:30 - 10:00 am - Conference Orientation - WSCC - Room 611-614
New to the Midwinter Meeting or ALA? Get a fun and informative introduction
to the Midwinter Meeting. Learn to navigate the exhibits, to decipher the
conference program, how ALA really works, and ways to get involved. NMRT
provides tips from the pros and the opportunity for you to get your
questions answered.
10:30 am - 12:00 pm - Executive Board Meeting - WSCC - TCC 101
3:00 - 4:00 pm - Membership & Networking Meeting - WSCC - Room 205
Join potential & current New Members Round Table (NMRT) in learning about
the round table’s latest activities. Hear from the ALA Presidential
Candidates about their platforms and ideas for ALA. Stop by this informal
meeting to network and learn more about the exciting things NMRT has to
offer you.
5:30 - 7:30 pm - Midwinter Social - Dragonfire Cafe, 722 Pine Street
Please join fellow NMRT members (and non-members!)at the DragonFire Cafe
(722 Pine Street) in the Paramount Hotel for an evening of networking and
fun in Seattle. Light refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome!

Join us for discussion and networking with LLAMA and NMRT members, new
librarians, new members of LLAMA and/or NMRT, librarians making career
shifts, and anyone interested in developing leadership skills.
WSCC – Washington State Convention Center
WSCC-TCC – The Conference Center of the Washington State Convention Center
NOTE: The TCC ( The Conference Center) is part of the Convention Center.
They have some of the same room numbers as the Convention Center so please
make sure you notice the TCC in front of the number.
