Everyone,
ALA GODORT Nominating Committee is reaching out for new “movers and shakers” in our GODORT organization! Holding an office in GODORT is a wonderful way to hone your leadership skills, strengthen communication abilities, as well as becoming part of a terrific team of networking librarians. We need people to become members of committees or a task force, as well as people to take on the leadership roles. We have been working on reorganizing parts of our organization, and taking on the duties of an officer or member of a committee/task force, would be a fantastic way to contribute and take part in this change
Here is what we need for the coming 2017-2018 ALA year:

One GODORT treasurer (2 yrs)
One Publications Committee chair elect (3 yrs) [continues as chair and immediate past-chair]
One Federal Task Force coordinator-elect (2 yrs) [continues as chair]
One International Task Force coordinator-elect (2 yrs) [continues as coordinator]
One State & Local Task Force coordinator-elect (2 yrs) [continues as coordinator]
Two Nominating Committee members (2 yrs)
Three Awards Committee members (2 yrs)
Two Bylaws Committee members (2 yrs)
