The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    All...two items of interest:

    TRAIL (Technical Report Archive and Image Library) now has a new interface to over 20,000 federal technical reports and nearly two million pages of content at http://www.technicalreports.org!

    If you are attending ALA Midwinter and are interested in learning more about TRAIL, please join us at our TRAIL Meet-n-Greet, Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at the Connaught Room, Manchester Grand Hyatt.  We are continuing to collect and digitize federal technical report series - expanding TRAIL to meet our goal of providing access to all legacy technical reports. You can help us meet those goals by joining forces with us.  We welcome new members and would love to work with you.  To find out how to become a member, check out the TRAIL CRL website http://www.crl.edu/grn/trail.
