The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    The Summer 2018 issue (volume 46, number 2) of DttP: Documents to the People has been published.

    DttP: Documents to the People 

    In this issue Shari Laster provides an overview of GODORT accomplishments during the past year.

    Kristina Polizzi describes a display on the visual history of Mobile, Alabama, by using local and federal government photographs, to show changes in the city between the 1930's and the 1980's and emphasizes that photos can be government information too.

    Michele Seikel and Suzanne Reinman discuss their survey of regional depositories and the need for retrospective cataloging to provide greater access to information as well as supporting GPO initiatives, interlibrary loan, and digitization efforts.
