The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to (1) To provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents; (2) to provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; (3) to increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

    Next Thursday, January 16th at 2:00PM est, COL's FDLP Task Force will be hosting a webinar to provide information regarding their survey <https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FDLPTaskForce> that is currently available and the open dialogue that they will be hosting during Midwinter.  If you are unable to participate during the live webinar, it will be archived and posted here<http://connect.ala.org/node/173610>.

    The Midwinter open dialogue will take place on Saturday, January 25 from 10:30-11:30am in the Convention Center, room 107B.  During the discussion at this session will center around the questions found in this survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FDLPTaskForce>.  Please feel free to complete the survey whether or not you plan on attending Midwinter.  The survey will remain open until February 14th.
